This product is made from 3mm birch plywood. The main images and wording are laser raster/engraved onto the wood and the outline shape is laser cut.
A locking safety pin is inset on the rear with glue. This method gives mechanical support to the glue and a stronger join. It means it does not protrude as much from the surface when in use.
The locking safety catch prevents the pin from popping open and safe-guards the wearer against being injured by the pin or loosing the badge.
All items are hand sanded and can either be finished with, tung oil, danish oil, paint, or waxed which protects the wood and gives it a smooth finish – Finishes vary between products.
